About The Speaker
Cholo's rich C-suite catalog lists him as a Founder, a Managing Director, a President, a Chief Marketing Officer, a Chief Operating Officer, and now a CEO.
He has 17 years of executive-level tech experience, spanning all stages: Startup, Growth, and IPO.
Cholo started his career in Globe Telecom in 2000, becoming Director for Value-Add Services. He then assumed leadership in various startups, managing multiple markets: the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Bangladesh, and Singapore.
Cholo was the Managing Director of Information Gateway, a movies and music content company; the Co-Founder and Managing Director of Digital Storm -- a casual games company; and the CMO of Xurpas, the only PH startup to reach IPO status.
Cholo rejoined the Globe family in 2020, assuming the Chief Operating Officer role in KonsultaMD, and was appointed CEO the following year.
In 2022, upon the consolidation of KonsultaMD, HealthNow, and AIDE -- the country's three market-leading telehealth apps -- Cholo continued as CEO. The combined entity launched KonsultaMD SuperApp, which provides end-to-end healthcare.
